Analytics

We use a simple, privacy-friendly analytics system that we host ourselves. It is designed to tell us how many people visit and which pages and books are popular. Nothing more.

• No cookies. We do not set cookies or store anything on your device for analytics.
• No personal data. We never store your IP address. To count unique visits we derive a one-way hash from your IP and browser combined with a secret salt that is rotated every day, so visits cannot be linked across days or back to you.
• No third parties. Your browsing is not shared with any external analytics provider.
• Retention. Aggregated view records are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Purchases

Books are sold through Biblio and AbeBooks. When you click through to buy, their own privacy policies apply to that purchase.
